UAE Employee Overtime Calculator

Normal day OT after 5:30 PM = 125%, night OT from 10:00 PM to 4:00 AM = 150%, Sunday / Weekly Off / Public Holiday = 150%.

Current settings: Normal timing 08:30 to 17:30, lunch 12:30 to 13:30 excluded, monthly normal hours 208, comp day rule 8 OT hours = 1 day. Settings can be changed in config.php.

Calculation Logic

Hourly rate = Monthly Basic Salary ÷ Monthly Normal Hours.

Normal Day: Only work after 17:30 is overtime. The part before 10:00 PM is paid at 125%; the part between 10:00 PM and 4:00 AM is paid at 150%.

Sunday / Weekly Off / Public Holiday: Total worked time is treated at 150%, and lunch break is excluded. Example: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM = 8 paid OT hours, not 9.

Comp OT Days: Total OT Hours ÷ 8. This is a company policy calculation, not a replacement for legal review.
