UAE VAT Calculator
Calculate the UAE standard VAT rate of 5% on an amount in AED. Choose whether your amount is before VAT or already includes VAT.
How UAE VAT is calculated
For a price excluding VAT, VAT = amount × 0.05 and total = amount × 1.05. For a VAT-inclusive price, VAT = total × 5 ÷ 105 and the net amount = total ÷ 1.05.
| Example | Net | VAT | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| AED 100 before VAT | AED 100.00 | AED 5.00 | AED 105.00 |
| AED 105 including VAT | AED 100.00 | AED 5.00 | AED 105.00 |
